Visit from Newry Mourne and Down Chairman Charlie Casey

Today , Gaelscoil na mBeann had a visit from Charlie Casey, Chairman of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, along with Irish Language Development Officer, Daria Ní Fháolain to celebrate the 10^th Anniversary of our school.  The pupils sang for the visitors in Irish before being presented with gifts from the Major.  Mr Casey also presented the school with a beautiful crystal vase to mark this special occasion.
