Bhí an t-ádh dearg ar pháistí Rang 6/7 go raibh deis acu dul chun na Gaeltachta an tseachtain seo. Bhuail na páistí le daltaí ó Ghaelscoileanna áitiúla eile agus is iomaí deis a bhí acu aithne a chur ar a chéile. Chaith siad cuid mhór ama ar an trá ag imirt peile agus chuaigh siad ag lapadaíl san fharraige chomh maith. Thug siad cuairt ar Errigal View Pet Zoo i nGaoth Dobhair agus bhí deis ag na páistí bia a thabhairt do na hainmhithe. Níl aon amhras ann gur bhain siad sult as na gníomhaíochtaí éagsúla a bhí ar fáil. Bhí preabchaisleán, cairtíní, luascáin, sleamhnáin agus neart eile ann. D'fhreastail siad ar cheolchoirm áitiúil agus bhí deis ag na páistí a gcuid buanna féin a thaispeáint. Turas den scoth a bhí ann!
Rang 6/7 were extremely lucky to have the opportunity to spend a couple of days at the Gaeltacht this week. The children met pupils who travelled from other local Irish Medium Primary schools and made new friends. They enjoyed playing football on the beach and paddling in the water. They went to Errigal View Pet Zoo in Gweedore and fed some of the animals. There is no doubt that they thoroughly enjoyed the various activities that there was to offer - a bouncy castle, go-karts, swings and slides and lots more. They also attended a local concert and had the opportunity to show their talents too. A fantastic trip had by all!
