Non-uniform day TOMORROW

Naíscoil and Gaelscoil na mBeann will be holding a non-uniform day for all pupils tomorrow in an attempt to raise funds to help provide aid in Turkey and Syria in the wake of the devastating earthquake that hit the region on Monday.

We ask that families make whatever donation they can with a recommended minimum donation of £1 per child. Any funds raised in school will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee which brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas (https://www.dec.org.uk/who-we-are).

As you will have seen in the media over the last few days, this is a time of great difficulty for everyone affected and this fundraiser allows us to shine a light on our children's roles as global citizens to help in any way they can.
