INEQE Online Safety for Parents and Carers

A date has now been confirmed for our Online Safety training for Parents and Carers. This will take place on Wednesday, 21st January 2026 from 7:00-8:00pm via MS Teams. Link to the meeting will be shared with you closer to the time.

With online usage becoming more and more common amongst our children, it is vital that we are all well informed and in a position to protect them and help them to remain safe. The objectives of this training are:

Participants will:

• Recognise the most common apps and platforms used by children and young people, and the risks associated with them.
• Learn how to apply online safety settings and parental controls effectively.
• Understand how to support safe and open conversations about online life at home.
• Identify where to go for trusted information, resources, and support.
